Blast Media Chilled Iron Grit GH
Chilled Iron Grit GH
Chilled Iron Grit GH is an abrasive made from cast iron which has a martensitic or pearlitic microstructure with massive inclusions of iron carbide.
During the blasting process, each individual grain breaks jaggedly, permanently maintaining the sharpness of the grit. This explains its excellent cleaning properties and its ability to roughen even the hardest of surfaces.
Applications:
- Surface cleaning (descaling, derusting, fettling)
- Roughening, polishing, peening
- Aggregate for the production of barium concrete
- Stone grinding and cutting
